
Grant Forsyth
Head of Regulatory Policy, NGN British Sky Broadcasting
Grant is in the Strategic Planning Group of BSkyB, managing broadband and telecommunications regulatory policy with a focus on NGN (next generation networks). Sky is the fastest growing and fourth largest ISP in the UK with over 3M broadband customers. It has made significant investments in its own network utilising LLU and continues to expand its network footprint.
Grant joined BSkyB in 2010 from BT Global Services where he held the role of Vice President, Global Interconnection & Regulation, based in London. Prior to moving to London in 2006 Grant was Manager of Industry & Regulatory Affairs for seven years at TelstraClear, the leading telco entrant in New Zealand. He joined the telecommunications industry as CEO of TUANZ (the Telecommunications Users Association of New Zealand) following a career in IT in NZ, UK and USA.
Grant holds an MBA from the University of Auckland and MSCE from the University of Washington in Seattle and recently completed a Post Graduate Diploma in EU Competition Law at Kings College London.
