Altaf Ladak is Chief Operating Officer and a founding member of Roshan, Afghanistan’s leading telecommunications operator.
Under Mr. Ladak’s leadership over the past eight years, Roshan has received significant global recognition, winning two awards for Best Brand, an award for Best Emerging Markets Operator and a Special Recognition for Corporate Philanthropy.
Mr. Ladak has over fifteen years of experience in international marketing and strategic development in the telecommunications industry, having worked primarily in start-ups as well as re-organizations for divisions of major international companies.
Mr. Ladak’s marketing strategies have played a key role in establishing Telcordia Technologies, developing a global Sales and Marketing team in one of the divisions in Alcatel, as well as helping set up a Marketing team for RAM Mobile Data Ltd. in the United Kingdom and Europe.
Mr. Ladak holds an MBA from Cornell University.
